Job summary

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
Logistics dispatch/scheduling experience preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and logistics software.
Ability to solve problems under pressure with independent judgment.
Ability to work in teams across departments.

Responsibilities

Partner with dispatchers and fleet managers to plan and carry out shipping operations.
Develop daily operating plan with emphasis on KPI achievement.
Evaluate current operating plan and create future plans focused on payload, on-time deliveries, and loaded mile percentage.
Engage with Scheduling Team Leader on growth and improvement opportunities for KAG assets.
Coordinate maintenance needs with Terminal Managers and Lead Technicians.
Solicit new and existing customers for freight opportunities.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere to support efficiency and success.
