Job summary

XPO is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to lead a team at the Fond du Lac, WI facility. You will oversee all freight operations, develop procedures to meet changing demands, and ensure safety and efficiency in daily tasks. This role calls for strong leadership, communication, and hands-on problem solving.

You will manage workloads, schedules, and payroll while enforcing DOT, FMCSR and safety policies to optimize network performance and service quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation or similar environment.
• LTL industry knowledge and regulatory awareness (hazardous materials, DOT).
• Availability for days, evenings, nights and weekends shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet department demands.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff across operations and address workplace questions.
• Ensure production goals by managing tonnage, payroll and admin functions.
• Plan hourly schedules to meet operations goals and reduce costs.
• Enforce policies and regulations to optimize network performance.
