Job summary

XPO is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to lead and optimize our freight handling on the warehouse floor. You will supervise hourly staff, develop work procedures, plan schedules, and ensure safe, efficient transport of customer freight daily.

The role demands strong leadership, knowledge of LTL, DOT rules, and a commitment to meeting production goals while controlling costs. Excellent communication and coaching skills are essential to drive safety and performance in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain, or similar environment.
• Knowledge of LTL industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules and regulations.
• Available to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet evolving department demands.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff across various operations and act as primary contact for workplace concerns.
