XPO is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to lead and optimize daily freight activities at our facility. You will supervise hourly staff, implement procedural improvements, and ensure timely, damage-free delivery while maintaining safety and compliance with DOT and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation or similar environment.
• Knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules and regulations.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise freight operations daily.
• Develop and implement work procedures to meet department needs.
• Evaluate, manage and assign workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff and address workplace concerns.
• Ensure production goals via tonnage, payroll and admin tasks.
• Plan hourly schedules to meet operations goals and reduce costs.
• Enforce DOT, OSHA and related policies and laws.
• Train employees on safety rules and processes.
• Conduct daily staff meetings and communicate corporate updates.
• Identify improvements to load average and compliance.
