Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc in Massachusetts is seeking a supervisor to lead a team responsible for moving all shipments on time and damage-free. You will plan daily manpower, assign shifts and monitor performance to meet service standards.

Required knowledge includes LTL, DOT, OSHA and NMFC rules, as well as Tariff guidelines. Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and proficient Microsoft Office skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of LTL Industry, DOT Rules and Regulations, OSHA Laws, Hazardous Materials Regulations, NMFC and Tariff Rules, as well as company policies and procedures, preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Multi-tasked oriented and possess good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet.
