Job summary

IBP is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Freight Broker Account Manager to manage existing house accounts and coordinate daily freight operations.

You will maintain relationships with customers, coordinate shipments from pickup to delivery, source and negotiate carriers, track progress, resolve issues, and ensure accurate load data in the TMS. Join a team dedicated to exceptional service and growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in freight brokerage, logistics, dispatching, or account management.
• Experience with DAT, Truckstop, and Highway preferred.
• Strong carrier sourcing, load management, and freight operations knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and a TMS.
• Knowledge of TL and LTL freight operations.
• Experience in freight brokerage and customer account management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with existing customer accounts.
• Coordinate and schedule freight shipments from pickup through delivery.
• Source, negotiate, and book qualified carriers for customer loads.
• Track shipments and communicate updates to customers and carriers.
• Resolve service issues and delivery exceptions promptly.
• Ensure load information is accurate in the TMS and internal systems.
• Monitor carrier performance and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure service.
• Verify load documentation and assist with billing and invoicing.
• Identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and growth.
