Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Operational Account Coordinator to act as the primary operational contact for an assigned freight account in a fast-paced environment. You will manage ground shipments from booking requests to execution, validate shipments in the customer platform and TMS, and monitor the lifecycle for delays or exceptions while keeping the customer informed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in freight, 3PL, transportation, logistics account coordination, or customer-facing transportation operations.
• Experience owning day-to-day communication for a customer account, including shipment updates, escalations, appointment coordination, and proactive communication around delays or exceptions.
• Hands-on experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS) and managing shipments from booking to pickup and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational contact for an assigned customer account.
• Manage ground shipments from initial booking through execution and delivery.
• Validate bookings in the customer platform and TMS; review loads for consolidation opportunities.
• Monitor shipment lifecycle for delays, exceptions, and appointment changes; communicate updates to customers.
• Coordinate with internal operations, capacity planning, and warehouse teams to schedule pickups and deliveries.
