Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates and ensuring strong merchandising and freight processing.

You will perform store duties, maintain stockroom and sales floor standards, and help execute monthly sales plans while ensuring a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Ensure cleanliness of store areas including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Assist Store Manager with: processing receipts/returns, managing freight flow, stocking, and planning monthly sales.
• Plan and implement sales plans and merchandised displays.
