Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our store leadership. You’ll work with the Store Manager to lead a team of associates and drive merchandising excellence and freight processing.

You'll manage daily store operations, ensure policy compliance, maintain cleanliness, stockrooms and sales floor, and provide a positive, safe environment for customers and teammates while supporting company directives.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform related physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms and floors.
