Job summary

Buckle in Lexington, KY is seeking a Freight Coordinator to support store operations and guest service. You will handle receiving and unpacking shipments, shipping merchandise, backroom maintenance, and routine cleaning as part of daily tasks.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork with store management to uphold Buckle’s mission of delivering an enjoyable shopping experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise invoices against items received to ensure shipments are correct
• Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips
• Double-check transfers are processed through the register and match shipped items
• Fold and box items for presentation when shipping to Guests or other stores
• Place Sensormatic tags on garments in designated locations
• Hang and fold merchandise for the sales floor and steam when necessary
• Assist on floor projects as needed
• Maintain knowledge of POS software
• Receive freight boxes and store transfers through the register
• Maintain shipment-related paperwork
• Maintain a neat, clean, organized work area
