Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Freight Coordinator to support daily store operations, shipments, and backroom maintenance in a fast-paced retail environment. The role emphasizes accuracy in receiving and shipping, maintaining inventory, and adhering to company policies.

The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to work flexible hours including peak shopping days, and commitment to delivering excellent customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received to ensure shipments are correct.
• Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Double-check transfers have been processed through the register and that items match what you are shipping out.
• Receive freight boxes and store transfers through register.
• Maintain knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) software.
• Keep supplies in stock and organized (e.g. boxes, transfer bags, printer paper, hangers, sensors, etc.).
• Organize fixtures and shelving.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Communicate policy violations to Store Manager, District Manager, and Human Resources in a timely, confidential manner.
• Provide feedback to Store Manager and Floor Leaders regarding merchandise handling concerns.
