Job summary

Swift Transportation is seeking a capable Logistics Negotiator to drive rate negotiations and cultivate strong carrier partnerships. You will respond to capacity needs, optimize lanes, and advance growth initiatives across the KNX Logistics division.

The role requires two years in brokerage/transportation or sales, plus knowledge of TMS, AS400, and MS Office. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with a results-driven mindset and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years brokerage-related/transportation experience or two years in sales, inside sales call center, or customer service.
• Basic knowledge of transportation and 3PL.
• Must be results oriented with a sense of urgency and bias for action.
• Familiar with TMS/brokerage systems and MS Office tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight rates for the Logistics Division and build carrier partnerships.
• Respond to capacity requirements and market changes to adjust rates on lanes.
• Deliver on growth and profitability targets and manage the end-to-end process with customers.
