Job summary

Dutch Bros Coffee seeks a Manager, Freight & Logistics to own the design and optimization of the freight and logistics network across distribution centers and shops. You will manage inbound and outbound freight, carrier relationships, and drive cost-to-serve improvements while ensuring on-time product availability.

Based in Tempe, AZ, this hybrid role requires in-office four days a week with optional remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in supply chain management, planning, purchasing, or logistics.
• Proven experience in 3rd party vendor management.
• Experience in ERP systems.
• Proficient with Excel, Google Suite, Outlook and Microsoft D365.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage numerous projects, simultaneously.
• Ability to effectively communicate shared goals and outcomes across teams.
• Ability to think critically and problem solve with numbers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience communicating with outside vendors.
• Ability to support vendor/distributor needs in various time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and continuous optimization of the freight and logistics network across distribution centers, including lane structure and mode strategy.
• Refresh the network model annually and run scenario analyses for changes to footprint or market entry, quantifying cost-to-serve and service impact.
• Build and maintain routing guides and mode strategies across truckload, LTL, intermodal, parcel, and refrigerated freight to maximize utilization.
• Develop backhaul, consolidation, and vendor-managed inbound programs to lower landed cost.
