Job summary

Do It Best Group in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Transportation Invoicing & Support Specialist who will audit freight invoices, verify against contracts, POs, B/Ls, and TMS data to ensure accuracy and timely payments.

You will work with carriers and internal teams to resolve exceptions, monitor aging, and support cost control by spotting duplicate charges and rate discrepancies. This role requires sharp attention to detail and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Audit freight invoices for accuracy against contracted rates, shipment records, PO, B/Ls and TMS data.
• Validate linehaul, fuel surcharge, accessorial, detention, and other charges prior to payment.
• Identify duplicate invoices, incorrect rates, unsupported charges, and other billing discrepancies.
• Process approved freight invoices accurately and within established payment timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of invoice adjustments, credits, disputes, and payment status.
