The candidate should have basic math and communication skills, with warehouse or freight handling experience preferred. This on-site position offers a starting pay of $21.78 per hour and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior warehousing or freight handling experience preferred.
• Experience with hostler/yard mule is a plus.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and open trailer doors with lift force.

Responsabilités

• Move freight across dock area using motorized or manual equipment.
• Verify freight details match documentation.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps or rope.
• Repair or recoup damaged freight when needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers with freight and related paperwork as needed.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
