Role Description The Freight Forwarding Operations Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, CA. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day freight forwarding activities, including booking shipments, preparing documentation, and tracking cargo for international and domestic moves. The agent will communicate directly with customers, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and resolution of operational issues. Daily tasks include data entry in transportation management systems, monitoring shipment status, handling export procedures, and maintaining accurate records for compliance. The role also involves providing responsive customer service, supporting project logistics, and collaborating with internal teams to meet service and performance standards.
