Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative for the DFW Airport area. You will collaborate with Operations and Branch Manager to grow customers, handle cargo-related inquiries, and maintain competitive service rates.

Duties include processing shipments, handling inquiries, and updating customer files. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, prior customer service experience, and proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Prior customer service experience preferred.
Thorough knowledge of freight forwarding industry for both International and Domestic.
Basic knowledge of sales.
Knowledge of inventory control.
Proficient in PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

Perform customer service duties with correspondence to customers and overseas partners, e-mails fax, etc.
Provide customers with shipping information, inbound/outbound transaction and inventory status information.
Conduct telephone sales to prospective customers.
Set up and maintain customer files and profiles.
Update inventory data, rate files, and create reports.
Update statement data and issue Invoices for customers in a timely manner.
Contact customers following sales and activities to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.
