Job summary

Altius Talent | Freight Forwarding Recruitment is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager in Houston or Dallas to drive new air and ocean freight business. You’ll build your own Texas pipeline, pursue opportunities from lead to first booking, and enjoy an aggressive commission plan.

You will identify importers and exporters with international air/ocean requirements, engage decision-makers, and tailor quotes to win new business.

Qualifications

• Air and ocean freight forwarding sales experience.
• Track record of opening new accounts.
• Ability to prospect and build pipeline in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Identify importers and exporters with international air and ocean freight requirements.
• Meet the people who select the forwarder and understand their routes, volumes and service priorities.
• Work through the quote and follow up with the shipper until you secure the business.
