Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in dispatch, import, analytics, or related roles.
• Advanced Excel skills with large data sets.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to work Sundays through Thursdays 7:00am–3:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Resolve problems with appointments and deliveries; monitor clearance progress and adjust dispatch based on freight availability.
• Maintain close relationships with carriers and input timely security information into the TMS system.
• Maintain dispatch costs in the TMS and support team members with workload when needed.
• Check import freight uplift status by running large Excel data sets.
• Reach out to receivers to arrange appointments.
• Coordinate with Air Import Team on clearance and prepare documentation packets.
• Confirm freight availability at the warehouse and coordinate with truckers.
• Prepare finalized shipping BOL/Dispatch and monitor driver on-time arrival.
• Update milestones in a timely manner (appointment requests, confirmations, delivery dates).
• Open trouble tickets for appointment scheduling issues and resolve accruals.
• Work with account managers to provide timely, accurate information.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
