Job summary

RedStone Logistics, LLC is seeking a Carrier Sales Specialist to join our growing transportation team. You will source and secure carrier capacity, negotiate rates, manage carrier relationships, and ensure freight moves from pickup to delivery.

This hands-on role requires market knowledge, data-driven decision making, and strong communication. You will build carrier leads, analyze trends, and collaborate with internal teams to meet productivity and service goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight brokerage, carrier sales, or logistics preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with DAT, Truckstop/ITS, TMS, or related tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with schedulers and carrier partners.
• Source and secure qualified carriers based on capacity and cost.
• Negotiate carrier rates balancing cost, service, and capacity.
• Monitor shipments and proactively address issues.
• Analyze market data to support pricing decisions.
• Develop carrier leads through outbound calls and referrals.
• Ensure carrier qualifications and compliance with company requirements.
• Maintain accurate carrier and shipment data in systems.
