iWorkforce Solutions is seeking a Freight Coordinator to join our logistics team in Houston, TX. This role acts as the central link between clients, carriers, and warehouses, managing daily inbound and outbound shipments with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

You will coordinate cargo movement across LTL, FTL, and air, monitor real-time statuses, handle documentation, and resolve issues quickly to keep shipments moving smoothly. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in supply chain, logistics, or business is a strong plus.
• 1–3 years of experience in freight routing, logistics, dispatching, or freight brokerage.
• Proficiency with TMS, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills for driver and client interactions.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments without errors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cargo movement for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Dispatch carriers and negotiate spot rates.
• Monitor real-time shipment tracking and resolve delays.
• Prepare and audit shipping paperwork (BOLs, invoices, packing slips).
• Resolve issues, file claims for damaged goods.
• Maintain logs of freight rates, delivery status, and carrier compliance in the ERP/TMS.
