Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate import/export shipments using different modes of transportation.
• Create files, arrange for pickup, and obtain shipment documentation for domestic/international transportation; act as liaison for status updates.
• Use approved external providers to arrange transportation of goods.
• Communicate tracking, scope changes, and information needed for each shipment.
• Bill the client for shipments as applicable.
• Conduct site visits for inspection and cargo loadouts.
• Ensure shipments are managed from start to finish.
• Follow work instructions to ensure consistency and reduce errors.
• Enter shipment details into CargoWise and submit required documentation.
• Respond to complaints and escalate when needed; provide status updates to customers.
• Resolve miscommunications to ensure on-time deliveries.
