Job summary

Maersk is hiring for a direct-hire freight broker role in Charlotte, NC. The position is 100% office-based with set hours Monday–Friday.

You will train to manage end-to-end logistics, develop carrier relations, and handle daily communications with customers and vendors to ensure on-time delivery and accurate billing. No industry experience is required; a robust training program will teach you the skills and tools of a freight broker in supply chain management.

Qualifications

• Proven communication skills (written and verbal) are required.
• Verifiable customer service experience and ability to communicate professionally with customers and vendors.
• Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and highly motivated to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain carrier relations; liaison for TL sales manager.
• Research and resolve freight and billing issues.
• Daily communication with customers and vendors; track & trace shipments.
• Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments; manage revenue.
