Allen Lund Company is seeking a Transportation Broker in Mount Pleasant, SC to manage inbound/outbound freight, customer inquiries, and freight-bill documentation. You will perform daily check calls and build relationships with shippers and carriers to support on-time, cost-effective logistics.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in freight brokerage or customer service, and a college degree or equivalent. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented team player ready for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Freight Brokerage or customer service.
• College degree highly desired or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Sales & Acquisition: Contact new customers and be responsible for customer acquisitions.
• Relationship Building: Develop and increase profitable volume with existing and new shippers.
• Consultation: Understand customer's business to identify and solve problems.
• Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Capacity Growth: Build relationships with carriers to increase capacity for projects.
• Pricing Strategy: Stay informed on market freight rates to determine fair prices.
• Rate Negotiation: Negotiate rates as directed by seniors and management.
• Solutions: Recommend logistics solutions to customers.
• Daily Management: Perform daily check calls on loads in transit and prepare freight bills.
• Core Logistics: Handle brokerage and booking of loads.
• Standards: Uphold company principles of Customer, Company, Office.
• M-F in office; rotating Saturday shift
