Job summary

10 BTI Solutions, Inc. in Santa Ana is seeking a settlement and billing specialist to manage freight forwarding invoicing, AR/AP, and correction processing. You will prepare status reports for SDSA management, customers, carriers and headquarters, and refine processes with automated solutions.

The role requires strong communication, Excel and Access skills, and the ability to work overtime when needed to ensure timely payments and accurate billing across divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience in AR & AP, Invoicing, Customer Service or Transportation/Logistics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Outlook and Microsoft Office.
• Excel proficiency with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Settlement management for freight forwarding operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and carriers.
• Prepare regular settlement status reports for management, customers, carriers and headquarters.
• Develop automated processes to reduce manual work.
• Process customer billing accurately and on deadlines.
• Audit and correct billing in the access database.
• Review required freight documentation and tariffs.
• Investigate billing errors and duplicates.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting as needed.
