Job summary

BTI Solutions, Inc. in Santa Ana, CA seeks a Billing & Settlement Coordinator to manage settlement related to freight forwarding operations and ensure accurate customer billing.

You will reinforce relationships with customers and carriers through clear communication and provide regular settlement reports to management. Ideal candidates have AR/AP experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong MS Office skills (Excel with VLOOKUP & Pivot).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience in AR & AP, invoicing and customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel expertise required.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Process customer billing accurately on or before deadlines.
• Audit carrier freight bills and interpret tariffs and contracts.
• Prepare regular settlement status reports for management, customers, carriers and headquarters.
• Audit and correct billing using Access database.
• Investigate errors and duplicate carrier billing.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting as required.
• Review essential freight documentation that supports charges invoiced and payments.
• Reinforce relationships with customers and carriers through effective communication.
• Support daily functions with internal technologies.
