Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring a Freezer Lift Operator to keep inventory moving in a fast-paced warehouse environment in York, PA. You will operate stand-up forklift/reach truck, move products, track stock with handheld devices, and stage items for order fulfillment.

The role requires safety-conscious teamwork and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, with training provided. Full-time, 1st shift (6am start) Tue-Thu-Sat, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Previous reach truck/stand up forklift experience required.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift/reach truck to move merchandise within the warehouse.
• Accurately track inventory using handheld devices and technology.
• Stack and rotate merchandise by hand or with equipment.
• Replenish pick slots and production lines to meet order deadlines.
• Stage finished products in designated storage areas.
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers.
• Follow all safety protocols for forklift operations.
• Safely lift varying case weights as needed.

Position Overview

Freezer Incentive Lift Operators help support this mission by replenishing product levels to ensure items can be easily accessed in the warehouse. These jobs are an important part of our team and help sustain our safe and efficient daily operation.

Job Description

Earn $19/hour + Incentive pay when you graduate!

Full time, 1st shift - 6am start until done

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday (overtime as required)

4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York PA

• Operating a stand up forklift/reach truck to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
• Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology
• Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment
• Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Staging finished product in designated storage areas
• Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers
• Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
