Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking forklift operators for 1st shift in North East, MD. You will move merchandise in the warehouse, track inventory with handheld tech, and ensure accurate replenishment to support timely customer orders.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma completed.
• 1+ year experience operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move merchandise to designated warehouse locations.
• Track inventory using handheld computer and related tech.
• Stack and rotate merchandise by hand or with equipment.
• Replenish pick slots and production lines for timely orders.
• Stage finished product in designated storage areas.
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers.
• Follow forklift safety protocols and procedures.
• Occasionally lift varying case weights as needed.

Position Overview

Keep our communities fed. Forklift Operators help support this mission by replenishing product levels to ensure items can be easily accessed in the warehouse. These jobs are an important part of our team and help sustain our safe and efficient daily operation.

• Earn $19 per hour
• 1st shift
• North East, MD 21001

Job Description

You will contribute by:

• Operating a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse

• Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology

• Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment

• Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders

• Staging finished product in designated storage areas

• Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers

• Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse

• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more

• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
