Craft Agency Ltd. is seeking a freelance Senior Strategist to lead brand strategy for technology-led engagements. You will drive discovery, uncover points of difference, and translate complex propositions into clear, differentiated stories. You’ll shape positioning, architecture and messaging, then align with design teams to ensure ideas survive the work.
The role involves workshops with senior stakeholders and a remote/hybrid setup, with ongoing project work and potential to turn temp-to-perm.
This is a freelance Senior Strategist position with an independent creative studio that builds brands at the edge of emerging technology, often before the product is finished.
The studio works with a client roster spanning category-defining technology and consumer businesses – it has built a reputation on digital craft, with a substantial awards record, and operates with the intentionality of a studio rather than the machinery of a large agency.
You’ll lead brand strategy for complex, technology-led engagements from the first strategic question through to creative development. That means running discovery, uncovering genuine points of difference, and turning sophisticated propositions into clear, differentiated stories.
You’ll shape positioning, proposition, brand architecture and messaging, then work alongside strong design and creative teams to make sure the thinking survives contact with the work. You’ll facilitate workshops and lead conversations with senior client stakeholders directly.

You’re an established Strategist with a portfolio weighted toward technology – AI, software, platforms, enterprise, fintech or emerging categories. You’ve translated technical products into clear stories, repositioned established brands, and worked on new ventures and launches.
You’re fluent across positioning, proposition, brand architecture, messaging and verbal identity, comfortable in front of senior stakeholders, and used to partnering closely with design.
