Job summary

Mindrift seeks an experienced CAD engineer to help train and evaluate AI agents operating in a real CAD environment. You will design part geometries, build reference solutions, and assess agent attempts, collaborating with CFD engineers who simulate the created geometry.

The role requires a professional CAD licence, 5+ years of hands-on CAD modelling experience, and proficiency in Python and GitHub. This is a fully remote position with international project opportunities.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master's or PhD a plus).
• 5+ years of CAD modelling experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, NX or Creo.
• Active professional CAD licence required.
• Proficiency in Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Help train and evaluate AI agents that work inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks.
• Design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agents’ attempts.
• Work alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build.
