Mindrift seeks an experienced CAD engineer to help train and evaluate AI agents operating in a real CAD environment. You will design part geometries, build reference solutions, and assess agent attempts, collaborating with CFD engineers who simulate the created geometry.
The role requires a professional CAD licence, 5+ years of hands-on CAD modelling experience, and proficiency in Python and GitHub. This is a fully remote position with international project opportunities.
Help train and evaluate AI agents that work inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks, work that would take an expert 10-15 hours. You'll design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts. You'll work alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build.
For this project, tasks are estimated to require around 10-20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active.
On this project, contributors can earn up to$39 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution.
