Job summary

LinkedField is seeking a part-time remote Construction Project Manager / Project Engineer to join our talent pool. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction project teams, setting up and managing submittal and change order pricing logs, and calling/emailing with subcontractors on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, coordinating with subs, and managing logs in Procore and other construction management software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working for a mid-size to large commercial General Contractor in the United States
• 7+ years of experience working in the Construction industry
• Excellent knowledge of construction techniques, processes, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with GC PM/PE, subcontractors, and other stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, submittals, change order pricing, and construction documents
• Coordinate with subcontractors via phone/email—up to 50 calls per day for documents
• Unblock yourself by coordinating with subs, GC team, and/or finding necessary construction documents
• Manage logs in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, PlanGrid, Viewpoint)
• Work 2-3 hours a day during typical business hours

About the Role:

LinkedField is seeking a part-time remote Construction Project Manager / Project Engineer to join our talent pool. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction project teams, setting up and managing submittal and change order pricing logs, and calling/emailing with subcontractors on a daily basis. Strong attention to detail and a determined mindset to continuously provide value to customers. LinkedField has an immediate need for experienced Project Managers / Project Engineers to do change order management.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings, submittals, change order pricing, and construction documents
• Ability and willingness to pick up the phone and call subcontractors up to 50 times a day to collect documents (change order pricing, submittals, closeout documents, etc)
• Unblock yourself by coordinating with subs, GC team, and/or finding the necessary construction document.
• Manage logs within construction project management software and tools such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, PlanGrid, Viewpoint, etc
• Work 2-3 hours a day during typical business hours
