Job summary

Citi is seeking a Fraud Technology Business Analyst in Irving, TX to bridge business and technology teams, shaping fraud detection and prevention in a global banking environment.

You will partner with Fraud Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Tech to gather requirements, translate them into user stories, and guide delivery of fraud technology capabilities. Hybrid work model offered with in-office and remote days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technology Analyst, or similar role.
• Background supporting Fraud Operations, Fraud Technology, Financial Crimes, AML, Payments, Risk Management, or Compliance within financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience mapping business and functional requirements, process flows, and data.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile delivery environments using Jira and Confluence.
• Clear communication able to convey information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and technologists to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Fraud Technology initiatives.
• Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for fraud prevention and operational efficiency.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, flows, and functional specs for delivery teams.
• Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, process maps, and workflow diagrams.
• Define and refine Jira Epics, Features, and User Stories with Agile teams.
• Validate requirements, review test cases, and support UAT for fraud technology solutions.
• Conduct data analysis and mapping to support system enhancements and monitoring capabilities.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Audit to align solutions with regulatory requirements.
