You will monitor transactions, registrations, and chargeback processes, leveraging AI tools like Claude to build scalable defenses. The role blends analytics, policy creation, and collaboration with Customer Operations to minimize friction for legitimate users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
• 1–3 years in fraud ops, payments risk, or related disputes.
• Experience with AI platforms (e.g., Claude) to analyze data and automate work.
• SQL querying and advanced Excel for transactional analysis.
• Autonomous, comfortable with ambiguity, builds scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and document initial rules-based fraud detection system.
• Monitor transactions, registrations, and payment flows for fraud.
• Leverage AI to analyze data patterns and draft behavioral rules.
• Query databases and translate trends into fraud policies.
• Oversee end-to-end chargeback disputes and maximize recovery.
