Qualifications

• 5+ years in fraud prevention and detection, focusing on payments, lending, and SaaS.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Math, Statistics, OR), Master’s preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with ability to write complex queries and generate reports.
• Strong data analysis capabilities for data‑driven risk decisions.
• In-depth understanding of payments risks and funds flows (ACH, bank transfer, wallets).
• Familiarity with investigation tools and third‑party risk vendors.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own fraud prevention strategies across Rippling’s financial products.
• Design, implement, and optimize fraud monitoring and decisioning using large-scale data.
• Build dashboards and metrics to monitor fraud performance and guide strategy.
• Lead investigations and root‑cause analyses to uncover patterns and gaps.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to improve detection models.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to embed risk controls in products.
