First Merchants Corporation is seeking a Fraud Strategy & Analytics Specialist to centralize and optimize fraud prevention and detection tools. The role will serve as a liaison between fraud operations, business lines, and external vendors, ensuring tool configurations align with risk appetite in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, finance, information systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Attend vendor and user group meetings to stay current on tool capabilities and updates.
• Monitor system changes and assess impact on fraud detection and prevention.
• Fully understand fraud tool capabilities and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Coordinate with LOBs to support decision-making related to fraud tools and strategies.
• Document current state, key decisions, and maintain up-to-date tool configurations and usage.
• Research and recommend leading practices in fraud prevention and technology utilization.
• Identify and analyze fraud trends across channels and products.
• Participate in the fraud triage team to support rapid response and resolution.
• Provide recommendations for ongoing tuning and configuration of fraud detection systems.
• Bring forward ideas to improve fraud prevention strategies and align tool usage with business goals.
• Serve as a proactive partner to internal stakeholders and external vendors.
