Langley Federal Credit Union in Newport News, VA, is hiring a Full Time Fraud Team Administrator to support the BSA/AML unit in a hybrid role from our Oyster Point office. The entry-level position handles security footage investigations, correspondence, and regulatory tasks, serving as a key contact for internal and external inquiries while building foundational fraud prevention experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in a financial institution in an operational or member facing position required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Completion of or active pursuit of relevant certifications must occur within 6 months of hire.
• Proficient in analyzing data across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and manages investigations related to security camera footage.
• Serves as the primary contact for phone, email, and regular mail communication.
• Receives and distributes NCUA complaints to appropriate team members.
• Creates and distributes Reg E letters in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Acts as a proxy for Analyst roles within the team to promote efficiency and support team operations.
• Assists in the intake, triage, and distribution of work items and tasks.
• Participates in team meetings to ensure alignment with departmental goals.
• Trains in BSA/AML and Fraud operations across multiple systems.
• Develops knowledge of Langley FCU products and services.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate's degree preferred

Certifications (e.g., CFE, VISA) required within 6 months of hire
