Beacon Credit Union is seeking a Fraud Analyst to join our Compliance team in Lynchburg, VA. You will monitor detection systems, investigate suspicious activity, and help protect members from financial crime.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Three years of fraud investigations or financial crimes experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fraud detection systems and analyze member behavior and transaction activity for signs of fraud.
• Conduct investigations involving electronic fraud, debit/credit card fraud, account takeover, and money laundering.
• Manage fraud claims and loss documentation, including affidavits.
• Prepare detailed investigative reports and support training across branches.
