Job summary

Authority Brands is seeking a Sr. Manager of Financial Compliance to lead franchisee financial compliance and internal controls across all brands.

The role designs audit strategy, builds risk models, and trains auditors to drive remediation with brand operations. It also oversees the delegation of authority policy and the financial controls framework, coordinating with Legal and Accounting on issues from audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in audit, internal controls, or compliance.
• Knowledge of COSO and delegation of authority policies.
• Experience reviewing franchise agreements and FDDs preferred.
• Strong communication skills for reporting to leaders.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own a system-wide franchisee audit strategy across brands.
• Build risk models using franchisee sales reporting trends and collections data.
• Lead a team of auditors to perform franchise audits consistently.
• Oversee remediation plans and track action items.
• Manage Delegation of Authority policy and financial controls.
• Coordinate with third-party internal audit provider and report findings.
