Job summary

Hospitality Restaurant Group is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to take hands-on responsibility for the daily operations of the Taco Bell restaurant assigned. You will work closely with Assistant and Shift Managers, leading hiring, training, and performance reviews while optimizing financials and ensuring top-quality food and customer service.

The role requires strong leadership, accountability for P&L, and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive store success.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, ambitious and outgoing.
• Excellent team-based leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of P&L accountability.
• Ability to lead by example and to convey a sense of urgency to staff.
• Basic computer proficiency, particularly email and laptop.
• Background checks are run on all management employees.
• Must have a reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all staff complete assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner.
• Ensure restaurant is a safe place for staff and customers.
• Address and resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally.
• Follow all cash, security, inventory and labor policies and ensure staff compliance.
• Handle difficult HR issues, including disciplinary write-ups and terminations.
• Take an entrepreneurial ownership approach to management of the restaurant.
• Ensure payroll runs smoothly and hours are correctly recorded; communicate with payroll at home office.
