Job summary

Choice Hotels International, Inc. is seeking an Area Director, Franchise Performance for South Georgia/Florida Panhandle.

You will act as a trusted advisor to hotel owners and operators, leveraging data to identify revenue opportunities and drive performance improvements across RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and market share. The role partners with Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, Distribution, Brand, and Operations to support commercial excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of hotel industry experience with commercial strategy focus.
• Minimum 10 years of hotel leadership experience, preferably in franchise performance or multi-property leadership.
• Proven ability to influence decisions through analytics and strategic consulting.
• Experience working in a matrixed organization and influencing outcomes without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic commercial advisor to hotel owners and operators using data to identify revenue opportunities.
• Conduct performance reviews, visits, and business consultations linking revenue strategy with sales, marketing, loyalty, and operations.
• Influence adoption of commercial priorities with clear accountability and goals.
• Evaluate market demand, pricing, distribution, and sales performance to target high-value opportunities.
• Develop actionable recommendations to improve revenue, market share, and owner profitability.
• Lead relationships with owners, management companies, and property leadership teams.
