Job summary

Slim Chickens is seeking a Field Operations Coach to drive operational excellence across ~50 restaurants. You will conduct high-frequency visits, assess performance, and develop improvement plans with clear timelines.

This role requires strong coaching and relationship-building skills to support franchise operators. Travel is significant within the sub-region; you will partner with GMs and operators to elevate brand standards, food quality, and service while documenting progress in our field

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in restaurant ops; multi-unit or above-restaurant leadership preferred.
• Bachelor's in Business/ Hospitality or related field preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically within assigned sub-region.
• Strong coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured operations visits (4–8 hours each) to assigned restaurants on cadence.
• Assess BOH operations, FOH hospitality, food quality, safety, and brand standards during visits.
• Develop and deliver written improvement plans with priorities and timelines.
• Track visit scores and progress; flag at-risk locations.
• Identify recurring operational patterns and surface recommendations to leadership.
• Validate new menu items and brand initiatives at restaurant level.
• Document observations, scores, and follow-up in tracking platform.
• Support new openings with pre-opening walkthroughs and post-opening visits.
• Provide candid coaching feedback to GMs, operators, franchisees.
• Adhere to policies and participate in field calls.
