Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Director, North America Franchise Operations to lead franchisee support and growth across Hertz, Dollar, and Thrifty brands. You’ll guide operations, training, budgeting, and brand adherence, driving improvements in performance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a strategic partner who can manage relationships with franchisees, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to execute growth opportunities and ensure compliance with agreements and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in franchise operations, franchise development, or multi-unit operations.
• Strong financial and business acumen, including P&L analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business performance, franchise fee income, and operating results across locations.
• Monitor underperforming locations and develop corrective action plans with franchisees.
• Deliver on-site and virtual training, coaching, and business development sessions.
• Provide fleet modeling, business planning, and P&L support for franchisees.
• Assist with franchise growth initiatives and onboarding of new franchisees.
• Identify new franchise opportunities and integrate multi-brand solutions into growth strategies.
• Plan and execute annual conferences, regional workshops, and franchise conventions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees and stakeholders.
• Communicate programs, policies, and procedures across the network.
• Oversee contract administration and franchise agreements.
