Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Leader in Boynton Beach, FL to lead and coach a team of framers, drive custom framing sales, and ensure exceptional customer service.

You will partner with the Store Manager to plan workload, mentor staff, and uphold SOPs while maintaining store standards. Ideal candidates will have basic computer skills and retail leadership experience; prefer experience in custom framing and team management.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage the framing team to meet their KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload and build plans for floor time and networking.
• Manage inventory and shrink/safety programs as assigned.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training of new team members.
