Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Leader in Richmond, TX to lead and coach a framing-focused team, drive custom framing sales, and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions.

You will manage daily operations, ensure SOP compliance, mentor staff, handle inventory and safety programs, and partner with the Store Manager to meet KPIs while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred
• Retail management experience
• Experience leading a sales team

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers who focus on building customer relationships while creating a framing solution for their art.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating a memorable framing solution.
• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs; act as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members and participate in performance management activities.
