Michaels LA store – LA-ONE WESTSIDE is seeking team members who will help customers by offering framing solutions and guiding them through product selection. You will build relationships and ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock shopping environment.

The role focuses on completing framing orders with quality, operating the cash register, and supporting omni-channel processes while maintaining SOPs and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance to applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.
• Build relationships with customers while creating Custom Framing solutions and deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store for the customer to shop.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with others in a respectful manner and promote the organization’s vision and values.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Acknowledge customers and provide solutions; assist with Omni channel processes.
