Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members at our California store to deliver sales and production results in a fast-paced retail environment. You will complete framing orders with quality and on time, while maintaining the framing department and assisting teammates.

You will provide friendly customer service, help customers find products, enroll customers in the Rewards program, and support omni-channel processes. Retail experience preferred and a strong attention to detail is required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Be a resource to assist and train other Team Members.
• Provide a fast and friendly check out experience while adhering to cash handling standards.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interacts with others in a respectful manner and promotes the company values.
• Participate in the truck un-load and stocking processes.
