Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. MSP-BLOOMINGTON, MN is seeking a Lead Framer to coach a team of framers, focus on building customer relationships, and drive custom framing sales.

You will assist the Store Manager, plan workload, manage inventory and safety programs, and participate in interviews and training of new team members. This role requires strong leadership, a customer‑driven mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment, including nights, weekends and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing plans.
• Assist Store Manager in SOP adherence, policies and staffing.
• Plan workload, manage inventory, and ensure safety and shrink programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and participate in Talent Development activities.
