Job summary

Michaels Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a Store Lead to guide a framing team focused on building customer relationships and delivering custom framing solutions. You will drive sales, coach team members, and ensure SOP compliance while maintaining a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will oversee operations, staffing, and training, with responsibilities spanning inventory, safety, and omni-channel processes.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience and experience leading a sales team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs; ensure execution of policies and standards.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage framing team performance.
• Review sales and production workload; plan and allocate floor time.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training of new team members.
• Partner with MODs on framing expectations and store operations.
• Support Omni channel processes.
