Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Framing Manager in Douglasville, GA, to lead a team of framers focused on building customer relationships while delivering custom framing solutions. You will drive framing sales, plan workloads with the Store Manager, and ensure high-quality results for customers.

Responsibilities include coaching the team, managing inventory and safety programs, serving as MOD, and supporting interviewing, onboarding, and training.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance and SOP adherence.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and manage framing team to meet role KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload and plan sales floor time for networking.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training of new team members; support Talent Development and performance management.
• Collaborate with MODs on framing expectations and store operations.
• Interact professionally, uphold the company's vision and values, and model positive behavior.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking to meet standards and budgets.
• Follow SOPs and ensure a safe environment.
